This course is a beginners introduction to fermenting. You'll learn what fermentation and pickling is all about, the different ways to ferment, pickle and preserve, how to do it and what to look for when fermenting at home. We'll taste kimchi's, krauts and pickles at their different stages so that you're leaning what to look for and you'll gain an understanding of how to use and ways to enjoy fermented foods in your cooking. We'll make a kimchi that you'll get to take away with you to ferment at home.
The class is 2 hrs and we'll be open for wine and a small menu once the class is finished.
