Hunston Manor House in beautiful West Sussex welcomes you to spend 24 hours with gut health specialists, learning all there is to know about gut health, practice age old methods of fermenting, and baking - then join us for an overnight stay including a Gutsy supper + fireside talks.

In this stunning and secluded oasis of natural beauty and calm. All our favourite gut health professionals will be creating an intimate and relaxed setting. You will have plenty of time for one on one discussions and discovery, around how you can take care of the incredible organ that is your gut, and the complex ecosystem housed within it.

From the Daytime Workshops you can expect summer fizzing ferments, freshly baked fermented breads, plus all the knowledge you need on digestive wellbeing.

In the evening, there will be the option of a walk on the beach, time for a bath before Natural Wine Tasting + Talk by the fire, followed by a Gutsy Feast cooked by Gut Health Chef + Fermenter, Flora.

You will come away feeling nourished and knowledged, with delicious  foods; prebiotic breads, probiotic ferments, first hand scientific insights, and a Gutsy goody bag!

You’ll learn about the signs of a happy healthy gut, the lowdown on the microbiome (aka the ecosystem in your gut), what to eat to foster digestive wellbeing, and where fermented foods and probiotics fit in to the gut health picture.

Flora, chef and founder of Gutsy, shares her journey mastering the art of different fermentation methods.  In this hands-on practical, Flora will show you how to make a range of seasonal gut-loving ferments. You will also have a chance to take away her favourite starter SCOBYs - including Water Kefir, Jun and Filmjolk - so that you can continue creating  ferments at home.

PICNIC LUNCH IN THE GARDENS

Lie beside the pond, and enjoy a picnic under the beautiful willow tree, venture out on the boat or roam around the gardens to explore the beautiful art and sculptures.

GUT HEALTH EVENING CELEBRATIONS

You will learn through the day, how gut health involves a complete 360 approach. Gut Health does not need to be about strict diets, detoxing, or gut makeovers - and we have designed an evening to celebrate this wholsome approach. Walks, nature, relaxation, red wine (packed with polyphenols), a diverse dinner celebrating prebiotics and probiotics, and if anyone knows how to play the piano - do please let us know!
